Meet JoAnne hart

Classically trained soprano turned belter, JoAnne Hart has performed alongside legendary rock band The Rolling Stones and single handedly produced, directed, cast, hosted, and performed in 4 virtual cabarets during the 2020 pandemic. She has also appeared as Maria in West Side Story at the Bellco Theater.

JoAnne is currently in production for her debut EP containing all original music. Her writing style lends itself to a pop rock feel with heavy musical theatre influence. 

JoAnne holds 2 degrees in voice from Belmont University. As part of her master’s degree, JoAnne researched the affects of weight training and yoga on singing. She uses this knowledge to support her own singing career and inform the way she teaches voice. JoAnne is currently teaching voice and performing in Nashville, TN. As a teacher, she specializes in teaching classical singers how to belt and has trained professional opera singers to take on modern musical theatre roles. JoAnne teaches the whole singer, not just the singing voice, through incorporating life coaching practices to help singers gain confidence in themselves as performers and humans.
